John Ferguson
President and CEO, SCI Group
John Ferguson is President and CEO of SCI Group Inc. one of Canada’s largest third-party logistics providers. SCI is comprised of three operating units: Progistix, SCI Logistics and First Team Transport and offers significant value added warehousing, distribution, contract logistics and transportation services across Canada. Its major customers include Bell Canada, Rogers, Amazon.ca, Toys “R” Us, Xerox and Siemens.
John is responsible for SCI’s national footprint of 13 distribution facilities, over 1.5 million square feet, dedicated transportation fleet and 1200 SCI associates.
John has over 20 years of experience in logistics and international trade. Prior to his role with SCI, John was Vice President and General Manager of Schneider’s international logistics business based in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, he was responsible for several operating units including contract logistics, port warehousing, transportation, and global freight forwarding services.
John also served as Vice President and General Manager, Canadian Operations, at Schneider National Inc. with responsibility for cross border, expedited, dedicated truckload, intermodal and logistics operations.
Before joining Schneider, John was part of the executive team at PBB Global Logistics, where he held several senior roles in operations and sales. He is the recipient of several awards including recognition for leading one of the first privately led trade missions to China as well as SCL Canada’s innovation award.
John is a graduate of Brock University in Business & Economics and recently held director positions in the Ontario Trucking Association, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association, and on the national board for Boy Scouts of Canada.

Roger Rees
Vice President, Finance, and CFO, SCI Group
Roger has over 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, spanning three continents mainly in the Telecommunications sector. After spending six years with Nortel in the UK, culminating in the role of UK Controller, Roger moved to Montreal taking on increasingly responsible roles in Operations and Business Decision Support Finance. In 2005, Roger drove the divestiture of Operations Finance to Flextronics in Montreal and in France.
In 2006, Roger took on the role of CFO for Nortel Netas, a majority owned joint venture in Istanbul, Turkey. Whilst there, Roger was instrumental in the strategic overhaul of the business, which resulted in a 40% growth in the business over a 3-year period through diversification of both the product portfolio and customer base.
Prior to his current role with SCI, Roger was Finance Director at Avaya, responsible for the Global Data Business Unit, partnering with the GM and the executive team in integrating the legacy Nortel business and improving overall profitability.
Roger is a Business & Accounting Bachelor’s graduate from Staffordshire University in the UK and is a Chartered Management Accountant.

Paul Ragan
Senior Vice President, Operations, SCI Group
Paul’s background includes over 30 years of experience operating supply chain related businesses in the retailing and 3PL sectors. He puts his experience to use in the delivery of strategic, tactical and business solutions to drive profitability and service expansion. Paul is directly responsible for all of SCI’s operations focusing on ensuring a consolidated and cohesive operations team.
Prior to joining SCI in April 2005, Paul held senior executive positions at several distribution and third-party logistics companies. Prior to that time Paul was president of a company providing distribution and transportation services to a Canadian specialty store retailer and was the director of distribution for Hudson’s Bay Co.
Paul holds a Business Management degree from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Supply
Chain & Logistics Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Sean Watson
Vice President, Transportation, SCI Group
Sean’s experience includes over 15 years in a variety of roles in the supply chain industry, ranging from Business Development to Operations Management, and Consulting. Sean’s primary focus has been on designing and executing supply chain strategies for large Canadian-based and multi-national corporations mainly in retail, high-tech, and health care verticals.
As well as being a founding member of a supply-chain outsourcing firm, Sean has held positions at Canadian Pacific Railway and more recently at UPS Supply Chain Solutions.
Sean is a graduate of University of Alberta in Economics and earned his M.B.A from the Schulich School of Business with a specialization in Corporate Strategy.

Chris Galindo
Vice President, Strategic Accounts and Solutions, SCI Group
Chris has spent over 17 years in the logistics industry, previously acting as Vice President and General Manager of The AMG Group of Companies. In that capacity, Chris was responsible for operations for the 3PL and Transport Divisions as well as all business development and strategic/planning activities.
Reporting to the President/CEO of The AMG Group, Chris was instrumental in taking a modest, family-owned business and growing it nationally. After AMG was acquired by SCI in early 2007, Chris increased his responsibilities by taking on responsibility for all of SCI’s retail accounts. The combined accounts operated in 13 facilities covering all major centres in Canada.
In early 2010, Chris moved into a Sales and Development and as Vice President, Strategic Accounts and Solutions, now drives growth for SCI by engaging in sales activities and generating innovative solutions for customers looking to utilize the services SCI provides.
Chris has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business degree from McMaster University in Hamilton.

Stewart Pinos
Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, SCI Group
Stewart is responsible for directing SCI sales and marketing efforts as well as providing strategic direction to expand the company's leadership and market share in Canada. Stewart brings over 20 years of experience in the High-Tech and Retail marketplace, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and excellence in customer service.
His background in Sales and Marketing, coupled with domestic and international business experience in the supply chain business, allows SCI to deliver solutions geared towards the specific needs of our customers, ultimately helping them to achieve superior business results.
Prior to joining SCI, Stewart was employed at UPS Supply Chain Solutions for seven years where he specialized in the technology, telecommunications and financial sectors leading teams both domestically as well as internationally to achieve superior results.
Stewart is a graduate of McGill University in Political Science and Economics, with an MBA from the University of Toronto. He has received numerous sales excellence and leadership awards over the course of his career.
Stewart’s expertise in building and leading successful organizations will contribute to SCI’s growth in our key markets.

Pat Ressa
Chief Information Officer, SCI Group
Pat brings a unique background that includes Information Technology and Supply Chain experience in both the CPG and 3PL sectors. Over his career, Pat has been able to successfully find ways to leverage the power of an integrated supply chain with Information Services to improve the service and bottom line in several companies. This background enables Pat to bring substantial insight into how to best serve our client companies.
Prior to joining SCI, Pat was Chief Information Officer at Maple Leaf Foods and Vice President of IS at Maple Leaf Bakery. His experience also includes executive 3PL operating roles and CPG supply chain roles at Husqvarna, Maple Leaf Consumer Foods, East Coast Refrigerated Services and Americold Logistics.
Pat holds an MBA in Management Science from Hofstra University and a B.Sc. in Business Administration and Accounting from the SUNY College, Brockport.

Steve Phinney
Senior Vice President, Corporate Services, SCI Group
Steve’s background includes over 25 years of experience in the field of human resources. He has successfully demonstrated the ability to work strategically with companies, unions and employees across Canada to develop and implement sustainable change initiatives that improve service, increase business competitiveness and address employment security. Prior to joining SCI in 1996, Steve held senior human resource and operations management roles in the manufacturing and food industries, where he gained significant experience in employee relations, training and development, and production operations.
Steve is a graduate of Mount Allison University and the Nova Scotia Teachers' College, with a degree in Education. He also holds a Certified Human Resources Professional designation through the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario.

Yvan Bourbonnais
General Manager, Progistix Solutions Inc.
Yvan’s background includes over 30 years of experience in various logistics operational roles at Bell Canada and Progistix Solutions. Prior to his current position, Yvan held director of operation roles in Montreal and Toronto. He focused on strategic projects such as network redesign/optimization, facility organization and multiple continuous improvement initiatives, which provided significant operational efficiencies and service improvements.
Yvan earned an MBA in Business Management (Logistics specialization) from the University of Québec in Montréal.
